What is a Boutique School Portrait?

Boutique school photography offers a personalized, artistic approach to capturing students' images. It focuses on unique, high-quality portraits that reflect individual personalities rather than traditionally posed school photos. I won’t force a cheesy smile; instead, I work with what a kid gives me to portray them authentically.

What do you charge?

There is no charge to the school for me to come and photograph your students for picture day. Parents pay only for the digital downloads or prints they order on my proofing website after the photo session.

We already have a photographer…

Why not add an additional picture day with our service? No need to cancel a photograph service you already have scheduled.

How is picture day handled?

About one month beforehand, I will come to your school and work with you to find an appropriate spot for me to set up and photograph the kiddos on picture day. Before picture day, you provide me with a student roster including class or age group. On shoot day, we will need one of your staff members to bring each class to the designated area for me to photograph at the appointed times.

Will you bring your own equipment and employees?

I will bring all my own photography equipment and backdrops, and if needed, my own assistant for the photography portion of picture day.

What do you give to the school?

I offer complimentary headshots of the staff on picture day and will provide the digital images to the school free of charge. Upon request, a digital image of each kiddo will also be provided to the school free of charge.

How are picture orders handled?

Parents will access all proofing and ordering through my website ordering platform. About 3-4 weeks after the ordering deadline, I will hand-deliver print orders to the school for parents to pick up.

How are parent communications handled?

I handle all parent communications and questions!
